Illegal executions and issue of Death Warrants by Col Inam ur Rahim

IN THE SUPREME COURT OF PAKISTAN
(Original Jurisdiction)

Inam-ul-Rahiem
Petitioner
Versus

Federation of Pakistan through Secretary Ministry of Defence, Rawalpindi, etc.
Respondents
NOTICE

To,

1.          Federation of Pakistan through Secretary Ministry of Defence, Rawalpindi.
2.          Chief of Army Staff, GHQ Rawalpindi.
3.          Chief of Air Staff, Air Headquarters Islamabad.

Please take notice of my filing of the petition regarding recent illegal executions and issue of Death Warrants on following grounds:-
a.           Except Nk Arshad Mehmood, none was tried under the charges of terrorism.
b.          None was allowed to produce defence witnesses.
c.           None was given trial proceedings for filing of appeals.
d.          None was provided the judgment of court of appeals.
e.           Only death warrants were issued to execute them which amounts to cold blood murder.

Whereas, Deputy Attorney General apprised the Lahore High Court Rawalpindi Bench on 24-12-2014 that the production of charge sheet, trial proceedings and the judgment of court of appeals is against the public interest. The Lahore High Court, Rawalpindi Bench accepted the view and dismissed the petition being     non-maintainable under Article 199(3) of the Constitution being Army Matter, which is altogether erroneous view. The act of military authorities was utter violation of Articles 2-A, 9, 10, 10-A, 13 & 19-A of the Constitution.
Above in view suspend the execution of death sentences till the decision of Supreme Court of Pakistan in the matter.

INAM-UL-RAHIEM
Advocate High Court
Rawalpindi.
